Casey Sweaney
I hear the moans of suffering,
The pain that he is experiencing.
The fact that no one is there for him
Stabs me like a knife.
Visiting every day, I see him lying there helplessly.
Not being able to move,
Not being able to eat,
All because of Gangrene.
The day I most dreaded had come.
The day of black clothes and crying had begun.
Seeing him lying there makes me very sad.
Friends and family talk about the good things he has done.
Preaching God's word,
Helping others in every way.
But now he lives no more,
All because of Gangrene.
