Star Rise

Deep in the death of surrealist games with much to lose and none to gain with eelish
nightmares slithering to fill your mind with reptilian urge and unleash the beast behind
your eyes to break your sanity like mirrors and melt your soul into moonlight to shame
the naked angel into clipping her immortal wings and find the dancing leper as he falls
into decay and stumble through the house of mirrors to find a single grain of sand upon a
desert universe with blood and tear within your track and life beneath your feet

Hello Sunshine

Hello mister sunshine and how the fuck are you I hear today that someone died and a
little baby lost an eye but how the fuck are you
Pray for your forgiveness and you will all be save isn't it a pisser that Saddam Hussein
prays
Remember that a gentleman is always really great just tell that to your daughter while
she's getting raped
And look at all the flowers pick as many as you please isn't it too bad that pollen spreads
so much disease
The rain is just so pretty when you're looking way up high it sucks when you find out
that is acid from the sky
Every so often someone dies from poison stew but back to good old mister sunshine tell
me how the fuck are you

American Save My Ass Hotline

Hello America are you sober enough to hear me if you are you are either poor or stupid
answer these questions are you
Framed strained restrained maimed blamed stained deranged caged enraged upstaged
estranged
Or otherwise fucked up cause your daddy got locked up and your mom didn't tuck you
up cause your brother was getting toked up and your sister mucked up with too many nut
ups
After you found out you were going blind from too much wine you were in a bind trying
to pay a fine so you didn't have to do your time for a parking crime
Have we got drugs for you its very simple see a shrink for a week and you'll be popping
tabs by lunchtime from the company that brought you the infamous Watergate incident
ENRON drugs making America more gullible by the day
So take your anti depressants today
And get baked up you may never wake up at least you'll never speak up so keep up we'll
bring the weak up and sneak up creep up oops fatality we gotta sweep up

Mutton

I wear my pristine wool like a lamb to the slaughter
Gripping the world in a cloak of sanity away from the black lights of truth
Like a child with an old teddy bear trying to keep its fabricated flash from wearing
through
Emulatious of stupidity but intelligence is a jealous partner who binds you to your oath of
knowing for you have already sipped her wine from the grapes of discord stomped
mightily by those who do not know thy enlighten

Silence of the Damns

Words to a poet are as colors to an artist they create what we want them to
With them we drag demons from your nightmares or angels from the sun and add the
twenty thousandth leaf to the twenty thousandth tree
Every word is a part to what we hope is a masterwork do the articulate phrases
meticulously woven into a silken web of verbal wonder insult you
I am here to speak for the world of free poets in saying we don't give a…Golly G darn
Why would you place an asterisk over my F and not give Venus a bra
You will now say it is not the same thing but you are full of…fecies
You say I need a more gargantuan repertoire of lexicography translation learn more
words why waste time thinking of synonyms for what I have the…male genitalia to say
To silence the gods all one needs is cotton to hear them one needs a soul
Poets pull the tape from your mouths censorship fuck you

Utopia

I have fallen asleep to the hydrogen jukebox and floated through the primal soups from
which the gods harvested the first crop of toxic bipeds and pissed on their heads I sank
into the mires of sanity and breathed the flaming gasses of insanity into a strange
landscape where it rains every day and marijuana grows freely where the words of howl
are gospel and Kurt Cobain is the muse and there are holes full of the remnants of
firearms where plutonium cannot explode where everyone is a legend and everyone
thinks for themselves and Jesus is not spoken for
Where good and evil do not exist
And I have awakened to the harsh voices of self-righteous liberals and fat headed
conservatives debating the price of a soul while their sons kill their brothers a thousand
thousand miles away killing the menace for the greater menace to pile corpse on corpse
on corpse and receive barrel on barrel and a silver star for losing an arm to a cannon and
pulling 6 heads off with bare hands before the sun sets on hatred and rises on hatred and
the moon shines for prejudice and blood ahh yes god bless America

An Ode to Hippies

Lick `em stick em twist em smoke em
Any way you choose to toke em
Everybody loves the ganja that's why I'm converting Rasta
Making peace is our main goal so everybody smoke a bowl
Be a pal and love your neighbor
Just as long as they bring papers

I Remember Do You

No I did not forget when the towers were hit
And the people that died and the tears in the eyes
Yeah I saw them burn but now it's your turn
I think you forgot that patriots aren't bought
Your planeloads of dudes and barrels of crude
And talk of great men but in the real end
You use that excuse to let your bombs loose
September 11th aint December the 7th
But we punished those crimes and went to peacetime
We did so much harm and then came Saddam
But bush is insane just like Hussein
Using his cash to buy weapon stash
But it's somehow ok for the USA
I think he would fear if the UN came here
And found all our nukes and put them in books
I think you forgot all the lives that were bought
In 2001 when the towers went down
Why do the same to the men of Hussein
They have kids too and they're being true
To the country they love and their flag above
Do they want to be freed or do we have a need
To see people die every time that we cry
And with every breath I remember that death
And this is déjà vu I remember the towers and I'm asking do you
