My Daddy's Arms

I feel safe in my daddy's arms,
I feel secure and as though life goes on without me in my daddy's arms.
I feel sorrow and yet happiness in my daddy's arms.
I feel sorry for all  the people who have no dad to snuggle their heads
into his arms.

I feel hurt when I have done something wrong in my daddy's arms.
I have no fear in my daddy's arms.
I feel these ways because my daddy's arms are strong, worn out at
times, and never the less engulfing. For he has always worked hard for
the things that I take for granted every day.

I feel untouchable like a tiny kitten in someone's hands.
But no matter how other people without daddies feel they'll always
have a dad even though he's so far away he seems almost unreal.

But I know that when my dad cannot be here for me to hold me in his
arms I always know that I will be being hugged all the time.
